Power Lock has a unique "sealed" electronic system that is impossible to circumvent. Power Lock works with the starting circuitry of the vessel. Here is how the Power Lock system works: A System Control Module is in constant communication with the patented Solenoid Module - which is permanently affixed to the initiate terminal of the starter solenoid with patented locking jaws and cannot be removed.

The system is continually armed by creating an open ignition circuit that disables the starting circuitry at the Module. There is absolutely no way to "wire around" or bypass the system. Even if a thief removes the vessel's battery, cuts electrical wires, removes the System Control Module, or tries to hot-wire around the starting circuit... the engine still won't even turn over!

To start a vessel with Power Lock, simply touch the factory- matched Coded Touch Key to the Remote Key Reader/System Status LED. The system will read the Coded Touch Key's code. The Coded Touch Key is recognized by both the System Control Module and the Solenoid Module and produces an encrypted electronic "handshake" telling the system it is OK to activate the starting circuitry. When the ignition is turned off, the system automatically arms after 45 seconds.

In the unlikely event of a problem with the Power Lock system, Power Lock will replace any part of the system that is at fault. In addition, should a vessel become disabled because of the Power Lock, Power Lock will pay towing charges to the nearest service center and cover service repair costs.
